Lenovo had released HW01 Smart Band into the Indian Market priced at ₹1,999 via Flipkart. Interestingly ,Smart wearable's market is growing at an 16% worldwide and no wonder Lenovo want to put its foot prints here. Already other players like Honor, Xiaomi had released their smart bands at an extremely affordable price, Mi Band can be brought as cheap as ₹799 (at the moment of writing this article) in Amazon. Let us see What Lenovo HW01 offers and its complete functionality :

Design : Lenovo HW01 Smart Band looks simple and decent for first time users with a high quality strap, we have observed any rashes by using this and seems to durable for long term. Selection of few menus can be done from Home button provided on Band (this is not a touch screen based Band)

Battery : We haven't tested much in this area, but we have observed that Battery last for longer time. Its been three days since we have un-boxed Smart Band with continuous use, its still contains more than Half the Juice(61% to be precise at the time of writing this article)

To use this Lenovo HW01 Smart Band, user need to download "Lenovo Smart Bracelet App" from Play store/App store. With help of Bluetooth same can be synced, once sync is done, date and time setting in Smart Band will get auto updated.

As soon as App is connected to Band, Sync will happen between Band and mobile so that all the details like Heart rater, calories , Distance walked etc., details  can be seen in App and interface of App is pretty clean and simple to use even for first time beginners. Apart for regular  Tracking activities, other functions like Anti-Doze, Taking Photos , Controlling Music, notifications of Whatsapp etc., can be seen in Band itself, so we can least concentrate on these activities.

 

Verdict : 

Everything has its own set of positives and negative points, Only negative point that I have observed in these couple of days usage is that Frequent Disconnect problems between App and SmartBand, which is very annoying at times when you really want to check details on Mobile.

Otherwise, Lenovo HW01 Smart Band is a good buy, at the same time you can check upon on other Bands available at this price segment
